stem cells therapy.

oke back to stem cell, there are 3types : 

1. totipotent

2. pluripotent (embryonic stem cell)

3. multipotent.

but only pluripotent and multipotent stem cells are being use for therapy. what is stem cell therapy exactly? based on my understanding, stem cell therapy is a treatment of disease or injury by introducing the stem cell into the lost organ or damaged tissue.

embryonic stem cell (es), have the greatest potential of development. such as for bone marrow transplantation.

oke scientist had discovered how es develop and works ?

1. the egg is fertilized to form an embryo

2. 1 to 5 days later, the embryo divides and then it form blastocyst

3. 2 days later the es is visible and able to form tissue

4.  then the cells are removed and grown in a petri dish. the cells creat a line of stem cell when they dividing.

5. the by support of nutrients, drugs and other factors, the stem cells differentiate into specific body cells that are unable to divide such as muscle cell, pracreatic islet cell and nerve cell.

there's other way to harvest stem cell such harvesting peripheral blood stem cell. this can treat blood cancer, leukemia, and liver chirrhosis and also others related.

there are actually soooooo many research on stem cell.
